  • Anti-Freeze Protection for Water Pipes: These heating cables are designed to prevent freezing in water pipes, and they are suitable for both plastic and metal pipes, including inlet pipes, drain pipes, sewer lines, and even palm tree frost protection. They are built with industrial-grade self-regulating heating technology. The waterproof grade of the heating cable is IP68.
  • Automatic Temperature Adjustment: With a heating rate of 7 watts per feet, the Pipe Heating Cable warms up quickly. This cable ensures that water remains flowing even in extremely cold temperatures as low as -40℃/-40℉.With a built-in thermal switch, the thermostat activates when the pipe surface temperature falls below 3℃/37℉ and stops heating when it exceeds 13℃/55℉. The pipe heating tape only heats when necessary, which helps save energy.
  • Self-Regulating Heating Technology: This heat tape for water pipes utilizes intelligent self-regulation, adjusting its power output to maintain a safe temperature without the risk of overheating or burning. It can be installed in a straight-traced, spiraled, or overlapped manner.
  • Simple Installation: This water pipe heat cable comes pre-assembled and ready for easy installation. Simply plug in the heating cable, and you should feel a slight warmth on the cable within minutes. (If you wish to test it before installation, do so at a temperature below 32℉ (0℃).
  • Warm Reminder: Never install heating cable on plastic pipe unless pipe is filled with water all the time. Use plastic(including PEX tubing) piping material suitable for residential water applications. in order to obtain even heat distribution, we recommend wrapping plastic pipes with aluminum foil before applying the heating cable.

NY has had a very cold winter. Wrapped these around my water pipes and have some peace of mind from frozen pipes overnight. Well made.

Wrapped this around the drain lines from the waste storage tanks of my RV to protect them from freezing/cracking during the Houston freeze in January 2025. Overnight temps dropped to the teens for several hours and didn't rise above freezing the following day. Now the freeze has passed I can say it works great, a cheap insurance policy to avoid costly and messy damage.

Je m’en sers en hiver pour le mettre sous l’abreuvoir de mes poules pour que l’eau ne gèle pas et ça marche très bien. J’en suis contente.

This replaced an old heat tape for my mobile home. Winter is coming and its been a few years so I thought I would update to this newer version. The wrapping options are versatile and I don’t need to worry about arching, according to the instructions. I installed it wrapped like my previous heat tape. It came with 2 rolls of tape for securing the heat tape to my water pipe. All in it took about 20 mins to install this heat tape. After installation and before putting my insulation wrap back on I plugged it in and tested. The self regulating controller is nice so that I don’t need to pay attention to the weather and unplug it when the daytime temperatures reach above 2c. It consumes says it consumes 7w per foot in the listing but the instructions say 17w per meter. I don’t have a power meter to tell its actual consumption but a little math tells me that at 7w per foot it would be almost 23w per meter. So this heat tape either consumes 84w of power or 62w based on 17w per meter. The quality of the cable was really good with no nicks or cuts in the cable and everything felt solid and intact. I appreciate that the cord is grounded and I’m happy with how easy it was to replace!
