I've gone through just about one container of these so far (1,000) laying 3/4" plywood decking on I-joists and LVLs, and they work great. I'm running them in with a Hitachi W6V4SD "stand up" collated driver (once I found a source for 7" long #2 square drive bits). I have about another 4,000 to go to finish this job, but I got rained out today and had nothing better to do than write a few product reviews waiting for things to dry up a bit. Before committing to 5,000 of these, I bought the first container and tested them with the engineered lumber to make sure they would hold up. I ran a few dozen of them in and out multiple times, drove them all the way through a scrap piece of 1-3/4" LVL and then ran them in again, and basically tried everything I could think of to get one to break. I was unsuccessful, so I ordered the remaining 4,000. Bottom line: these are great screws and I'll keep using them.25 Oct 2015 Update: I finished up installing two layers of 3/4" plywood decking last summer and forgot to update my comments, so here's the update. I drove just over 4,900 of these screws altogether without a single failure, so I obviously couldn't be happier with that kind of performance. As a side note, my Hitachi collated driver worked great setting these screws, and I used only one driver bit. I then used that same bit to drive almost 3,000 collated backer board screws. Very happy with both the screws and the driver.
