I have several Sensei step-up and step-down rings. They are all machined to the correct thread diameters and pitches. I like that they have grooves in the side for gripping your fingers on them. So far, they have worked very well for me. This is my go-to brand for this type of product.

When I switched from film to digital cameras, I had lenses and attachments that I wanted to keep using. The digital camera, although the same brand as the film cameras, had a different filter size, so I needed step-up/step-down rings to compensate. They are going to be left on the lens or accessory, so I am not too concerned if they are removable. The lenses and accessories are also not my go-to pieces, they are either back-up or specialty pieces for portraits, etc. These are serving their intended purpose and I've not encountered any problems.

It works perfectly well...until you try to take it off. It's been stuck twice now. I thought the first time was an anomaly so I did try again. I'm not sure if it swells in the heat being made of lighter weight metal, but it stuck again. If I can get it off without damaging my lens, it's going in the trash.
