Installed this mini split today. Very easy to do with the right tools. It’s not extremely warm out today but this thing is great so far. Tested the cool function and the heat function. Love it. The shipping was very fast and had great service from fedex truck delivery. Called and talked to a tech, didn’t get his name, and he was awesome and answered a few question I had. So far I would recommend this unit and company.

BUYER BEWARE: There is no warranty at all on this item if you install it yourself. Write to Senville if you have questions on this. Be sure you evacuate the unit properly. Open all lower valves on dual or three zone units. The manual tells you to only open one set of valves. DO NOT open the very top refrigerant valves until after you have vacuum tested the installation. I have had my unit running for a week now, both wall units work great, I average 1000-1200 watts power while both units are heating. I test the power useage with my Sense meter. Hardware wise this is a well designed unit. Wall units and outside condenser are very quiet. You can sit right next to the outdoor unit and carry on a normal conversation. Most of the time you wont even know the units are running.

After getting taken to the cleaners by another local A/C company I finally gave in and decided to try one of these. I can't believe how good this is. My power bill is half what it used to be. You can't hear it run and it cools so effortlessly. We had to struggle to cool the house before pulling the thermostat down to 74 and my power bills were thru the roof. Now the temp on the unit says 81 and the whole house is truly cool and comfortable. Don't ask me to explain, I don't understand it either. Did I mention that you can't hear it run and my power bills half what it was. Buy and mini split.....

Using this mini slit to heat and cool bedrooms in our house works great.. customer service was awesome as well.. would buy again..

After doing research for which split system I wanted to use I went with Senville. This dual zone unit helps add supplemental heat to two extensions on my house that get cold during the winter. I’m a refrigeration mechanic so I installed it myself. Installation was very straight forward. It’s been in for 3 weeks so far and has worked great. If there are any issues I will update my review. My only minor issue is that you can’t calibrate the room thermometer. With the air handler on the wall it reads warmer than the room is at ground level. To compensate I just raise the thermostat a little. All in all it’s been great.

First of all, I'd like to thank the support team at Senville for helping me troubleshoot why the unit wasn't getting power when I got everything hooked up. They helped me track down a loose connection (things happen in shipping sometimes) and I was up and running immediately after that. I was pleased they didn't just throw boiler plate help text at me and avoid the issue, but instead made sure we stepped through logically until the problem was sorted. I'm sure this was likely a one-off issue based on the quality of the unit, but when things go wrong you want quality as well as great customer support and they have it.As for the unit itself, I'm pleased with the quality of the metal used in construction, as well as the gauge of the internal wiring. There were no corners cut here. Once I connected the supply lines and got the electrical connection functioning, it was only minutes before the unit was heating my house and I had it integrated with my smart home controller. I'm just really pleased with the result and will certainly look to them again the next time I need to install one.

Definitely wouldn’t suggest buying this. I bought one for the high elevation that I live in and I’m constantly using electric heaters and woodstoves to help heat the house. It constantly goes into a defrost mode. Regardless of what I try to do I suggest contacting a local HVAC contractor and getting one thats specific for your area. purchase the unit that was for my elevation, and it still does not work.

Great units, put out great Ac all summer long. Saved me $100/mo from April - November … then it started to cost me $100/mo more from December - March . So in the long run it we saved about $400/year.
