Did what it was supposed to do and kept me on the roof. The aluminum gets a little chewed up on asphalt shingles but that's to be expected. Manufacturing seems to be quality and is pretty easy to use just make sure the arrow points the right way.

It does its job. I didn't even have to go through the Hassel of cutting out the steel cable since this was a little cheaper. It's a little slippery on 11.7mm at times. Better for worn in ropes like making lanyards out of retired lifelines that aren't out of age yet.

Due to the smoothness of the locking mechanism, It will not bite into the rope . It just slides right through. I do not recommend this product

Can't use it because the ropes I have have metal rings on the ends and this does not come apart to facilitate them.It does seem to be decent quality though.
