Bought these for use in a small solar project that I was doing... actually had part of it freeze and hydrogen gas with an electrical spark and a change of underwear.. lol Something I did not know until I went looking for these is that a solar panel will drain a battery at night if you do not have one of these or similar inline so that the electrons do not flow back to the panel. (I was using small solar panels do make HHO gas... electrolysis.... and didn't think of the temperature outside, the ice formed and pushed my anode and cathode together and that is how I got a spark with hydrogen and oxygen already in the chamber and it blew the lid off) Gotta love science.

Just installed with my aftermarket rear camera to prevent my camera switch from turning on reverse lights. First one worked great right out of the package. I will update if a failure occurs

I'm no expert at all have no clue if they are doing anything. I do know they did not prevent my light strips from making my brake light bar from flashing. The only thing that they are both connected to is the power wire the ground goes to the frame. Even though the brake light bar doesn't actually connect to the same power wire. I wish I could get it to work.

These diodes are exactly as described and arrived fairly quickly. They are packaged in a cardboard strip and came via USPS in a small envelope.If you need 5W 12V Zeners, these are your beasts. If you don't know what a Zener diode is, why are you reading this?

worked as expected... used to install a remote starter car alarm.... needed to diode isolate the negative door triggers...
