Usage for Banneton
It provides structure for shaped loaves of bread during proofing, what is more, it is used for doughs that are too soft or wet to maintain their shape while rising.
Not only can our bread baskets assist to mold bread but it can also be used to hold fruits, vegetables, keeping them from getting dirty or getting wet.
Another usage of our product is that it can be utilized simply as a decorative handicraft. I believe that a delicate basket with firm texture and beautiful horizontal line will be just the perfect highlight for your room
Care instructions
• Don NOT put in microwave • Avoid putting near flame • Easily clean with damp cloth • It takes at least 3 uses to achieve a film that is stable enough to mediate moisture or temperature (humidity), retain dusting flour and facilitate easy release of your dough. • Great for rising your dough while providing the loaf with shape and wicking moisture from the crust. (For rising only, not for baking)

They work great with my sour dough bread. tip: use lots of rice flour before placing your dough into the basket. The rice flour will help keep it from sticking while proofing your bread. I do not use the liners but they are nicely made and fit well into the proofing basket. The baskets are well made and sturdy. I ended up ordering two more.

These are great! The perfect size for making two loaves from a 1000 gram recipe. Just what I wanted. There were a few rough spots, which I rubbed out with a nylon scrubber that I use to scrub food off dishes.I would definitely buy more from this company.

Worked well for my standard 2 loaf sourdough recipe. I prepped it with a mix of rice flour & ap flour and did a long rise in the fridge. One loaf plopped out right away. The second loaf (pictured) took a bit of tapping but eventually came out with a positively beautiful spiral. I haven't used the linen liners yet.Make sure you take the time to brush any little loose bits or splinters out before use. I'm glad I have these now though, much better than the MacGyver solution I had before that used my mixing bowls.

I love these baskets. I was skeptical given how low the price was compared to others, but they really are very good quality. They really help form a nice crust on the bread. The baskets are sturdy and stack nicely. The cloth is stitched well, and is high quality. I recommend dusting with rice flour to prevent sticking, but that’s true for any basket.

I've used these (and the two oval ones also SUGUS house). They work great. I sifted-dusted them with rice flour and the loaves just drop right out.It's not advertised, but both sets of mine came with a free flexible plastic bread scraper. Good gosh, that's been fantastic. It's sharp enough to scrap clean the inside of the mixing bowl, but flexible enough to mold to the curvature of the bowl.I already had a metal scraper, but these rubber scrapers have been a lifesaver getting the dough out of the bowl when it's still sticky.

I make sourdough bread. These are the perfect size for two regular size loaves (1000g flour among both). One of the bannetons was a little sloppy in being put together (wood was raised on an inner bottom edge, and to compensate they put a slice of wood on the other edge with a big ugly long slathering of wood glue) but it doesn’t effect the performance and I just use the cloth cover for that one. Needs a little shaving as they all do when you first get them to wear down the slivers. I was also happily surprised to receive a surprise gift of some stencils! Good value for the price. Would make the perfect gift for any new baker
