These one piece lug nuts are superior to the original factory ones that are encased in a cover piece. These get beat up over time by mechanics that persist in tightening them with an impact wrench instead of a torque wrench. The ones on my vehicle were chewed up to the point where a socket would no longer fit over the lug nut. These one piece ones should hold up better. Time will tell.

I bought these lug nuts exactly 4 months ago and installed them only one time with a 6 point socket hand tightened and torqued. After 4 months they are already rusting pretty bad. Obviously they are poorly plated and look pretty bad. 4 months of use? Ridiculous. If they would have been put on with an impact they would probably be a lot worse than they are. I cannot recommend these lug nuts unless all you need are something to hold the wheel on and don't care about how they look.
