The molds worked ok for my purpose - testing fragrance oils in cold process soap. I ordered these because of the price. And yes, in this case, I got what I paid for. The silicone is thin. The cavities stand up ok but by the time the cure was finished the soaps had protruding and bumpy sidewalls so the bars of soap couldn't stand up on their sides for storage. I fixed that with my planer. but who wants to do that extra work for test bars?I don't know how the molds would work for baking, but since I baked my soap at 170 degrees Fahrenheit my assumption is that they wouldn't work very well since temps for baking food is usually twice that amount.

I loved these rectangle molds the size were perfect and as well as quality. It was so easy to remove and easy cleaning. The design nor color didn't matter to me but they were a plus.
