When I first tried to install this part, I could not get it to sit flat. after a few frustrating minutes, i decided to examine this part and the original part side by side. I noticed that this part is thicker in some places. I decided to remove the stitch finger and try to screw it down. Finally it fits! After putting back in the stitch finger and threading my Brother 1034D, It sews perfectly.

The older style version had worn out on the machine in my local library maker space. I was able to get a next day replacement to get the machine quickly working again!

Within two weeks of purchase, and with infrequent, normal use, one of the small pins disappeared. Stitches started missing and I rethreaded, changed needles, cleaned everything, added oil...then I looked at this new piece and saw that it was broken. I'm very disappointed.

Very durable plate.It doesn’t fit my Brother “Strong and Tough†serger but quality is impressive.Since those two needle-like prawns attached to the plate are what I need, I’m going to just remove those from this piece and attach them to my old plate since my “strong and tough†failed miserably at living up to its name because those little prawns broke about 15 stitches after opening the box.

Was told by my sewing machine repair guy that a new needle plate would cost me $45.00. Put that on top of his cleaning fee, I would be better off to buy a new machine. After looking briefly at prices for a new machine I happened to find this needle plate for $18.00!! Ordered it, put it on my machine, and have done a little sewing. I am quite happy with this. Will have to see how long I can go before breaking this one though.

I don't know what happened with this ordered part.I purchased it for my brother 925D serger. It looked like it should've fit but it was shorter in length. The description was a little vague but it looked like mine. So the part it self looked like a quality part. It was solidly machined and was just as thick as mine. But unfortunately it was shorter than the one I needed.

Ne s’adapte pas… comme évoqué dans d autres commentaires cette plaque n’est pas compatible car trop épaisse. Je vais tenter de la retourner
