What Do We Do?
We make adjustable dress forms.
What is one of those I hear you ask? Well put simply, a dress form is a model used to reflect your body shape. This can be very helpful when making clothes or even just to see how an outfit would look together.
There are many ways in which a dress form can be invaluable in garment making, whether you're just starting out or an experienced sewist.
Body
Features a medium length adjustable body with 12 thumb wheel adjusters at the bust, waist & hips. Also allows adjustment to the height, neck and back length
Fabric
Covered in a bright and vibrant Poppy Red fabric, which is backed with foam to allow needles to be pinned through it.
Stand
Sleek and stable black metal calibrated pole with a four footed plastic base for quick assembly and storage. Also includes a Pin Grip Hem Marker.

I've sewn off and on over the past several decades. I've been eyeing dress forms since I offered to make my daughter's wedding dress. They are a luxury that I really shouldn't buy for a just few projects.Currently I'm in the process of altering clothes from a weight loss. And I have a few dresses I want to make for myself before I make my daughter's wedding dress. She is drastically different in size, but by practicing with the dress form I will feel more secure making hers. I can change from my measurements to hers.This form was about the same cost as buying one used on marketplace. It isn't high end, but it does the job I need it to do. I'm pleasantly surprised with this purchase.

Has lots of places to adjust so you can get your measurements. When you want to pin fabric to the form you have to put them in at an angle--it is plastic with a cloth cover--but it does the job.

i guess i should have upgraded my old dress form with one that uses sturdier materials. mostly...the stand is what i feel could have been constructed with better materials (light plastic) or better design since it is really flimsy.

This Adjustoform tailors dummy was ok to put together. The instructions were a little confusing as they were showing different models. I found it to be quite sturdy compared to my old model. The only downside was that I have a long torso and the waist didn't stretch far enough. I think that would be the case with most dummies. The feet are flat to the ground and so it doesn't tip over as my last model did. The sizes were easy to adjust as I am not the standard size of models. I am happy with this dummy
