Last time I was creating something with LED strips I soldered. A real hassle but very effective and secure - you gotta be pretty good with a soldering iron and extra careful. These were great, still took good care but you could tell once you crimped these down, they were solid. I needed to make 4 right-angle corner connections and one straight connection. I tested after every connection and no issues at all. I'll definitely use these again next time.

I needed wire to strip connectors. There is only four. I put one on backwards and so it didn't work. They are not reusable and I had to cut it off. As I was going around the mirror, I needed all four. I couldn't finish the job. I only needed one, and I would have to buy this same pack again and get 6 useless connectors. I tried emailing the seller, but they did not ever respond back. I would gladly pay the $10 for the wire to strip connectors, but that isn't an option.

OMG...this is so much better then how I was soldering on wires to make connections. All you need is pliers to squeeze down on the metal tabs and they make a solid connection without any flickering. So simple to use. One thing to know is that its a one shot deal, you can not reuse the connectors once you press down the metal tabs. I noticed that the connectors were drooping so I put some double stick tape on them to secure them to the cabinet, worked out great. A must have if you are doing custom strip light installs, it saves so much time.

The clips are easy to install, but you must make certain that the wires are fully pushed into the clip or the little metal connector in the clip will not pinch the wire and make a connection. You usually have to cut the clip off and start again. Once the clip is installed don’t move the wire and clip around too much or the connection disengages within the clip. I found it to be more trouble than what it is worth and soldered the connections in the end.

I may have done something wrong with attaching these clips to the light strip. The problem is, you don't really get a second chance. If you are planning an intricate design with the light strips, keep in mind that there may be a bit of trial and error in connecting these clips. I made a mistake cutting my track light next to the wire, the track lit up in the inch before my cut but I could not link anything after that cut. So, I will now resort to soldering to fix my goof. So, all to say, I am not certain if it is the clips that were the problem or something I did wrong. Good luck.
