I like that I was able to cover an area of my porch so that I could sit without having the sun burning my skin.

These clips are deceptively strong. I used them to set up some shade cloth for my tomatoes and when I went to take them off, I couldn't! I had to cut them out. I don't know if there is a trick to open them back up or if its a one time use clip. Either way, they work good!

I had to join some large shade cloths together this summer to save our Plumerias from perishing in the blistering heat. These performed very admirably.

These clips worked very well on the sunshade fabric. They gripped very well. You have to make sure they clip in the center before you let go. I used plastic ties to mount them.

So far these are doing what they're supposed to do. Easy to use and functional.

Make sure to clamp these on where you want them to stay. These clips clamp on tight -- very tight! There are 5 prongs that go through the opposing side of the clip and the center one has a narrow neck and large head. The result is that these clips stay clipped. I cannot pry them back open with my fingers, and it was difficult with a butter knife. When you put them on they are going to stay put. The part that bends is less than an inch long, so when you close the clip, it can only be used on something less than 1/2" in diameter. A 1/4" rope or clothes line would work fine. In my garden, I have raised beds that have hoops made of 1/2" PVC. These clips cannot go around PVC as the hoops are much too thick. I have a 50' square garden area surrounded by a tall welded-wire fence. I am using the clips to hold shade cloth over the top to protect my blueberry bushes from the birds. The fence will not allow the clips to slide more than an inch or two. If you were only supporting a shade cloth on two ends by rope, the clips would most likely slide. If you were using fat rope, so that the clip barely closed over it, then you'd probably be fine and wouldn't have sliding issues. There are a lot of them in the box (200). You could support a lot of shade cloth with these. (Note: these would not be good for holding a tarp, as the prongs on the clip have to go through the fabric.)

While the price is good I had to return because I could not get it too clip. The material is too thick for this type of clip. However, they seem durable for more light-weight projects.

Volveré a comprar seguro.
