This coupler solved a decade-old problem. I bought a used log splitter from my neighbor that somebody had changed the motor on Putting a John Deere motor on a craftsman splitter. The coupler that was used was far from correct and literally wobbled and ate up the rubber spiders. I found this coupler that is made to fit two different sized shafts, I took the time to align the shafts perfectly, by drilling holes and shimming the pump and the motor but the effort was worth it. It runs perfectly true now.
