I like using the clamps that you tighten with the threaded rod (versus squeezing - plastic). If you squeeze too hard, the clamp fails. Go with the metal.I took one star off because when you tighten this one, sometimes the plastic cover on the end of the clamp falls off. So I will just hot glue it on. Problem solved.

Clamps arrived well packaged in excellent condition. Used them to close the gap between 2 pieces of wood. Used CA to glue them together. Tighten to Max torque. Worked perfectly.

They seemed like they would be good and sturdy. But the first time I used these was to clamp a couple pieces of wood I was glueing up. And 2 of the 4 broke. In one of the pictures you can see the crack, while on the other a piece broke off.I was very disappointed,.To update my review, SHALL contacted me within 1 day after I posted the review above and offered a full refund and to send a replacement. They were very professional. Therefore, I am raising the rating to 3 stars because they are standing behind their product. If these hold up better I will revise again.

Ce sont de bons serre-joints pour ce prix. On obtient une pression de serrage correcte et suffisante pour des collages bien préparés. La version 30 cm est bien plus intéressante à mon goût que les 15cm.Les pads en plastiques sont bien, ils tiennent en place et sont ok côté rigidité.La partie tige filetée est bien usinée ce qui rend le serrage facile et la poignée en caoutchouc rend le serrage encore plus agréable. Je préfère largement ce type de poignée aux poignées en bois, le grip est bien meilleur.Le verrou qui bloque la partie mobile est pratique, j'en avais jamais resté des comme ça avant. Ils sont parfois dur à déverrouiller. C'est une habitude différente à prendre mais je pense que je vais apprécier.J'en ai pris 8, c'est très bien pour des tiroirs ou petite boîtes par exemple. Il ne reste plus qu'à voir leur durée de vie mais pas inquiet sur des éléments rudimentaires comme ça, Ils semblent solide, les métaux sont épais.
