i decided to start making beaded accessories and bought the items on amazon, and these eye pins have lasted me for a good couple of months. to be fair, i don't make very many accessories, and i've taken quite a lot of breaks, so if you plan on making this a full-on job for yourself, i'd suggest you buy some more. they're great and are pretty sturdy (i don't think any of my beads have fallen out yet). however, i'd also suggest buying some jewelry wire on the side in case the beads are too big for the size you've chosen. that's what i did, and it's saved me a lot of times.

They are a little longer than I want but I could always cut them down. they have stayed in all of the earrings i’ve made so far…5 pairs. really nice bake fine in the oven.

I liked the length (about 25mm) so they can be used on various projects. As the pic shows, not all 500 are perfect. I cut the bent ones for my current project. The pin shaft seems sturdy and doesn't bend easily. 4 stars for bent shafts.
