How to wear:
1. Drape the cord over your neck and across your shoulders (You should probably be wearing your graduation gown already).
2. Look in the mirror and check your graduation cord to make sure that they fall evenly on both sides down the outside of your gown.
4. Pin the cord in place with a safety pin in the back at right below the neckline or underneath your hood to ensure that the cords do not slip out of place or fall off.

I purchased these cords for my graduating nursing students. Nursing programs are so rigorous, challenging, and at times very stressful. They are very different from other college majors. I wanted to recognize the success of these new nurses by presenting each nurse with silver/gray cord to wear with their graduation robes. The students were delighted.

The ends of the cord tend to come undone if you are not careful and start messing around with it. But if you leave it alone and know to not mess around and touch it it's completely fine, just wish it wouldn't come so easily undone and could be fixable.
