Moved into a brand-new home and quickly found that the low-cost builder-installed white-plastic pull-out style toilet connectors were garbage that wouldn't let me shut off water to the toilet unless I first shut off water to the whole hose and then relieved pressure by flushing the toilet.Since I am pretty old fashioned (and old), I was initially going to cut the line at the wall and solder on what I consider to be real fittings. Unfortunately, the house's water lines are PEX, so that plan went out the window. In my search for an alternative, I found these SharkBite fittings. On-line forums are split on whether to use them or not, but I thought I would give them a try. I was not disappointed. They were a breeze to install and have worked perfectly for a number of months at this point. The hardest part of the installation was removing the old fittings without damaging the PEX . Did all three of our toilets in under a half hour to include cleanup.Next will be the various under sink fittings, but that will have to wait for a day when my back doesn't hurt.

Took just a few minutes to install and didn't leak a drop. Incredibly simple and looks like it will last a long time.

I was worried I'd have to hire an expensive plumber to replace my leaking stop valve. After reading reviews of other customers for the SharkBite connector, and watching their short instructional video, I thought "I can do this". So glad I ordered this and did the replacement myself. It was so easy I thought I had to have done it wrong but it's working great with no leaks.

There was a commercial angle stop installed that was leaking from our toilet. Everything online said to replace with a sharkbite angle stop supply kit. We tried it and it worked like a charm. No leaks and was easy to install. Definitely using these for the other toilets in the house. I know they make them for sink faucets as well.

This product was exactly what I needed to repair my toilet. I purchased extra parts for my other toilets and they came in handy when my other toilets needed to be repaired.

Well, after taking delivery of our new TT after the walk-thru and fact we pointed out the leak to the technician who said he would fix it, it wasn’t. So did some research and this was recommended by many seasoned RV’ers. It also placed a in-line cutoff for the water which the factory did not for some reason. Easily installed and has worked to date perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone experiencing valve leaks or just the need for a in-line shut off on their RV toilet.

If you know what you are doing, this part can be installed in minutes. Made with good quality steel braided hose, and the incredible SharkBite fitting, the assembly can be purchased in various hose lengths. Leaks that appear commonly in older valves and fittings in hard to reach locations can be easily resolved. Recommendation: while you're at it, go ahead and replace the float valve assembly with all of the new fittings. No more leaks for years to come!

The manufactured home has stiff pipes and needed to install a sprayer for my mom since she has issues with toilet papet irritation. This allowed me to install the sprayer without any hassle for her. Quick and easy!

This is a great product! I shut the water off. I used a pipe cutter and cut the pipe off right behind the old valve.(the pipe cutter just spins around a few times and the pipe is cut clean. I used sandpaper to make sure the pipe didn’t have any copper burs or any pieces left over. I then shoved the shark bite onto the pipe and it bit on nicely. It is able to spin while attached which is super handy to hook up the toilet part. The toilet part is a click lock system like a gas cap, it snaps when you’ve connected it. Super easy install, no plumber required!!!Please let us know if you found this review helpful!

My old toilet valve was soldered in and leaking. With help of a pipe cutter I finished replacing it with the shark bite valve in under 5 minutes. No leaks. Although shark stuff is a bit costly, I've come to love being able to do professional plumbing work without having to hire hire a plumber. 5 minutes I was done !
