My hard of hearing mother loves this clock. We tried 3 other clocks before we found this one. It is loud enough and the volume can be adjusted. It is easy to use and she also loves waking up to the rooster!

This Sharp Big Band Super Loud Alarm Clock - is the real deal. It isn't a normal loud, it is EXTREMELY LOUD! Which is exactly what I wanted and needed! It has different wake up sounds and has I think 1-15 different loud settings, 15 being the loudest. If your anything like myself (I would call myself a very, very, HARD sleeper, anything above "10" will work for me) but I still have it all the way up just so I know ill wake up regardless! It's a blessing and a curse to be able to sleep like I do, but the curse is that normal alarm clocks just don't do it! I even looked into those alarm clocks with a shaker for your pillow.. I can tell you with how loud this is, you don't need anything else but this alarm clock! To give you a little example of how deep of a sleeper I am, when my fiancé and myself were in the hospital after our third child, the fire alarm for the brand new hospital we were in, went off and everyone on our floor ran out of their room thinking if was for real, and this was around 3AM in the winter, there was snow on the ground outside - I was still sleeping on the bed completely unfazed from this gigantic alarm going off through the hospital. Yes I was a bit sleep deprived as well but still, even if I wasn't, I would not have woken up.. So after saying that type of story, and for me to say this works for me should tell you how loud this alarm clock is!!I will say if your sharing a house with roommates, small kids, or a family - you may want to let them hear it so they at least don't awaken frightfully when it goes off lol regardless where this alarm is located in your house, it WILL wake up people throughout the house if you have to have it on the loudest setting. My fiancé can literally wake up to her phone vibrating in the morning. She is a very light sleeper so if she was around in the morning to hear this alarm clock go off it would probably blow her eardrums out (lol being a little dramatic but it is extremely loud when your right next to it) but really this is so loud it will wake some up everyone in the house.In all seriousness this alarm clock does its job for HEAVY SLEEPERS and is a fantastic!! I have loved it since the first morning Ive used it. It has not let me down yet and I HIGHLY recommend this alarm clock to the people that sleep similarly to myself. 5 out of 5 stars for this product! Love it!!

After 7 years, I finally got my dream job. I have been late for work one time in the last 5 years however, unlike my last job the first year at my new company if I am one minute late, I am terminated. You can see how important a reliable LOUD alarm clock would be especially because I am constantly switching from day shift to night shift so there is zero sleep pattern. While I still have my iPhone, iPad, and regular alarm clocks as backup this one has worked great the last 3 months! It’s a very loud/annoying alarm clock, the only problem I have is I used semi decent batteries in it and it failed to keep my alarms and time during a power outage, luckily my backup phone woke me up. Put a fresh battery in it and have tested it numerous times by unplugging it and that seems to have been the culprit. Overall still 5 stars bc it’s the best loudest one out there I’ve seen besides the Screaming Meanie, but this one is AC not solely batteries so ðŸ‘ðŸ».

This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I am in a coma when I sleep. Plus, I have significant hearing loss in one ear. This alarm clock is great! It is very easy to use. You can put it as low as you want, or set it very loud. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I am hard of hearing which set me on track for finding a small clock with a loud alarm.I had my doubts, but I searched for clocks that were for people like me. This clock popped up.It is perfect for me. I only use the regular alarm sound. The other sounds do not appeal to me.The settings are fairly easy to figure out. Also, the display can be dimmed; which was important to me.

Perfect! My son sleeps like a rock. He could have his cellphone right next to his bed and at the loudest setting. He would sleep straight through the alarm. This clock is easy to use and definitely loud. Choice of settings but annoying mom is the funniest and favorite.
