This oven replaces our older Sharp model which served us well over many years. Size and power level nearly identical. To our delight, the new oven is so much quieter, lighter, and better performing. Besides being good-looking, it is solidly built with excellent controls and a clean display. The Inverter Technology does such a better job at cooking/reheating/defrosting etc. I highly recommend this microwave oven. We are very pleased with our purchase.

My old 20 year old model finally gave up the ghost. Fortunately this newer model of the same series has the same excellent performance standards and the big rotating tray. Quieter. But has the settings for big microwave output.I am very very happy.

Love this XL microwave. Very powerful. Heats things quickly. Love all the button options. So much room inside too! Hope it last longer than my panosonic did (3yrs). So far so good!

This unit began making a noise and showing a glow like fire behind the inside cover and wasn't even six months old. I can't recommend and certainly won't buy another Sharp product.

There was power to keypad and turntable, but unit did not heat at all. Contacted Amazon and they didn't have any in stock to replace it. Only option was a refund 15 days AFTER the defective one was received in their warehouse. In the meantime I'm still out a microwave and my money. Contacted Sharp and after just 2 minutes on the phone they authorized a free replacement with the exact same model, it shipped the very same day, and they didn't require me to ship the defective one. I can't say if the issue with the first one was a factory defect or the result of mishandling somewhere in the warehousing/shipping process, but it deserves a few stars for Sharp's willingness to stand behind their product and the simplicity of their return process.

This is my fifth Sharp Microwave oven. the only reason i dont possess the other 4 is because i built them in and sold the properties. I have never had a SMharp icrowave that failed to operate as designed.Beautiful large microwave. Excellent features, almost silent. I am impressed, yet again with this purchase.

I was very pleased with the microwave the first week or two. It ran so silently that I couldn't even tell it was running and the food was heated well. Then it started to make a rattling sound when it was turned on. It was coming from the motor. It still heats well, so I hope the rattle will not present a problem with the performance in the future. I tried to register it, but the site sent me around in circles, so I gave up.

I had to replace my old Sharp...looked similar to this, but a lot heavier.To my suprise this was much lighter!!The interior is black which is something new to me.It's VERY quite and it does take a minute to learn how to work it. For instance, you just don't press the door button to open. You have to press "unlock" then the button. Instead of just pressing the number buttons that you want....you now have to press "TIME" then the buttons.It's a very nice oven and I would definitely recommend this SHARP one.I have had a very positive experience with Sharp microwaves that is the reason I chose this one
