Purchased for personal security while on walks, this little alarm is quite loud and would get someone’s attention for sure! Easy to trigger, very loud and has a strobe light that goes off as well. Lightweight and easy to add to a keyring.

This Birdie is very loud and has a strobe light and easy to activate. This will definitely deter an attacker and draw attention to you. I bought one to see if it was truly what people say. It is !! Love the color. I will be buying one for my daughter, daughter in law and my two granddaughters.

I bought a two pack for my mother and myself since I'm traveling out of the country alone for the first time in my life. Testing it out, it was so loud and the light is so bright that my father, who had a stroke 3 years ago, fell over onto the floor. Don't worry, he's okay, but know this-- it is startling. Wouldn't it be amazing if it had the same effect on bad guys?! Get it for the women you love in your life. For such a small and simple item, there's no reason not to have it. Except maybe the price... but they say some proceeds support women's support groups so that's a positive.

This security keychain tool is extremely loud as advertised. If a person happens to be in trouble while holding the Birdie or having close access to it then it will serve its purpose. I’m not sure how much it will help if it is buried at the bottom of a purse. So, I try and keep it readily available in my pocket when I go places alone or in the dark.

Gifted this product to a family member. They love it! They love the color, how easy it is to use, and it's light weight. The sound it ommits is nice and loud as it should be and they like the blinking light. Great quality, perfect size and gives an added security peace of mind.

Super disappointed that this showed up dead/non operational, and grateful that I tested it first to make sure it did work rather than finding myself in a situation of needing it and it not working. I contacted birdie for support, and will update with my experience. ALWAYS TEST PERSONAL ALARMS, do NOT assume it will work. Yikes.Update: haven’t heard back from Birdie’s support after contacting 4 days ago, Amazon ended up sending a replacement after I returned the order through them. Disappointing experience with Birdie customer service.The Amazon replacement works! Days later, still no word from Birdie. Leaving a star off because of that.New item works as advertised, I hope it stands the test of time.

I purchased this for my teen daughter and her friend for Christmas. I gave it to them both early and we tested it out. It is very loud and the strobe light is very bright. This means that either you cover the light with your hand for the alarm to be heard, or you cover the speaker for the light to flash. You cannot have both like you are supposed to.
