I purchased in case I ever need to travel and stop at a RV / campsite to charge up. They usually have 50 amp outlets.Great guage cables to handle up to 40 amps (on a 50 amp breaker line) of sustained charging. Stiff, but passible.The 24ft cable is as long as my in-garage Emporia charger cable.Nice travel case that fits in the small frunk of my Kia EV9 GT-Line.Travel case can hold the Level 1 adapter.Selectable amperage levels for different plugging options / breaker limitations.Can be mounted and used as a non-portable charger.Charges as fast as my in-garage Emporia Level 2 charger when it was plugged into my NEMA 14-50 outlet.Options for scheduling.Great LED screen with info including charging speed / current power, unit temperature, amperage used and set, charging time and total consumed charge.

Charger works great, nice having plenty of cord length that still fits nicely into the case it comes in. Simple to use and select desired amperage. All this and it's affordable! I feel like its better for my battery life to charge with this when traveling opposed to fast chargers where I can find a 240 outlet overnight.

Arrived in excellent condition and works as advertised. It is Energy Star Certified which made it eligible for a local power company rebate. The display is nice and readable and the ability to use it as a level 1 or level 2 charger with the correct adapter is a plus. (Plug adapter was purchased separately).So far it has worked flawlessly and it is nice to be able to see the amp and power draw from the local display.

Charged fine for a few weeks. One day I plugged it in and the charger’s screen stayed black. Bricked after a few weeks, was returned.

This Level 2 EV charger stands out with its vibrant color and durable build. The thick-gauged wires and sturdy NEMA 14-50 plug offer confidence during use. I love that it remembers my car’s 32-amp limit, saving me the hassle of adjusting settings every time. The case is just the right size, and the long cable is a huge plus, reaching easily no matter how I park. When monitoring the on-display temperature, I noticed that it hovers around 114°F and 118°F. While the thick cables can be tricky to stow, and the bright colors may get dirty, the biggest downside is the J1772 plug’s cheap-feeling lock. Despite this, it's an excellent choice for portable charging until you’re ready to upgrade to a hardwired unit.

More like 3.5 stars. Doesnt come with a 120 v wall plug adapter and a the shell branded one is a little pricey. But it's sharp looking and the cord is flexible enough, even in freezing weather. The carrying case is nice. The whole setup feels very solid. And it charges my ev6 at 10-12 amps. Have not tried a 240 V outlet yet.The plastic tab to hang the unit is weak and popped out for my setup where I stretch the cord a distance. Also on the same outlet where I can charge, I get random ungrounded errors that stop charging. I don't know if this is my house or just an overlay sensitive circuit in the evse. I'd shop around more if I were to buy another one.

For being one of the more reputable certified chargers, I am really happy that it is also one of the more reasonably priced ones! having the ability to change from 12A, 16A, 24A, 32A, and 40A is really nice, especially since I'm only on a 30 amp breaker at the moment, but can upgrade that later, and I got the adapter so I can super slow charge in a pinch. The case is a really nice bonus too.
