I wanted something fancy and far outside my usual day to day style; prioritizing pretty over practical, something flashy enough to catch anyone’s eye while holding enough classic elegance to be respectable and believable. I wasn’t looking to replace my wedding ring, and with how much gold and platinum costs these days I was focused on nice costume jewelry, hoping to find a little faux treasure that wouldn’t turn my finger green or break the bank. Moissanite and silver pair exceptionally well for the look and budget I had in mind. I loved this enhancer/ring guard the moment I saw it…the design was just what I wanted, I was reminded of the Barbie Princess and the Pauper movie I watched with my daughters a thousand times when they were young. Princess Annalise would definitely have a ring like this. I had to have it…the hard part was finding a center ring to fill it up the way it deserved. I tried finding one from the same maker/seller but didn’t find exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a large but not huge center stone, round cut, with a six prong setting. Sounds simple doesn’t it? Well it wasn’t, at least to find anyway. It took a lot of sifting but I am pleased with what I finally selected. In the pictures I have inserted a 2 carat moissanite in sterling silver ring, it has tiny round side stones similar to those in the enhancer. It JUST fits, you have to insert it with the center stone pre aligned, the silver ring guard arms are snug to the center ring mount, it doesn’t have room to shift around, which is really nice, everything stays in its proper place. The middle ring is a size 7 and as the product description suggested, I ordered the enhancer/ring guard a size larger (an 8) and that seems to be good advice for fitting pieces together. The enhancer is nicely made, symmetrical, straight, polished, all the stones evenly set. It has the appearance of fine jewelry, I would wear this for any special occasion. Despite taking up a lot of real estate, the two rings in combination remain comfortably light in comparison to my wedding ring. I am far too rough with my hands to wear something like this daily, but when I want to pretend to be a civilized lady, this is perfect. I feel this enhancer really pulls it off visually, entirely believable beauty, I’m really happy with it. Honestly I am so pleased with the overall look for the money I would encourage couples to consider doing something like this for an actual bridal set. Silver is a little more work to maintain than gold or platinum (they are not without maintenance either) but it’s beautiful, affordable…and the moissanite has all the sparkle and durability of diamonds without the over-inflated monopolistic cost. If you like it and it makes you feel pretty, who cares if it comes out of the lab instead of the earth? Between this enhancer and the ring inserted into it I spent less than $100. I’m tickled pink with it, something I can enjoy without devastation if I should lose it or break it. My actual original wedding/engagement ring was platinum with a modest 0.25 carat natural diamond from one of those shopping mall jewelry stores, mass produced, but my husband still paid way more money than he could afford at the time, because it was important to him that I have “something†for our little justice of the peace wedding. That ring had to be repaired numerous times, the center stone setting straightened twice and then completely replaced once and finally, the band holding the side baguettes bent and broke apart so badly I lost the stones and they couldn’t fix it anymore…and no jeweler I took it to was willing to melt my ring down and recast it… I didn’t care about impurities and guarantees, I just wanted my wedding ring for sentiment…it didn’t happen. I had to have a whole new ring made…for a while I was as broken hearted over it, I did design my replacement to be more suited for a person who works with their hands everyday, it’s practical, durable and it has lasted 10 years without issue so far. over time, having the same husband for 25 years has made me understand what is truly valuable and the fact that I no longer have my original ring less important. So, knowing what I know now, had we to do it over, I would ask my husband for a ring like this and have saved some money, maybe we could have taken a nice honeymoon or put a down payment on a house sooner? He could always have bought me more rings like this later to accommodate the whims of style or if it got lost or broken and we wouldn’t even have had to sell our firstborn child to pay for them. Anyway, whether you are looking for a little fun bling, something temporary while your ring is getting fixed, or something more officially purposeful and permanent , in terms of beauty for your dollar, this enhancer is truly brilliant, you just couldn’t go wrong with it. I tried to share photos that would give an idea of size. I have large hands, I wear size 7 surgical gloves and a size seven ring. The center stone of the ring fit inside the enhancer is 2 carats. My wedding ring shown next to this is 0.80 carat with a full bezel setting that probably gives a outer circumference similar to a 1 carat weight size stone.

Beautiful and well made, true to size. Have only worn it for one day, but was very comfortable. I want to buy another one to add a different small ring in between!

This is a beautiful enhancer for my princess cut. It's not bulky or too thick. The size is exact. I wear size 6. For the price, this is very nice. I will definitely watch and see how it holds up with my busy mom-life-house work! I did purchase the protection plan for a few years just in case!

More than I wanted to spend on something fake but, I wanted it to look real and it does. Very happy with it. Wearing it in place of my real wedding rings on vacation.

I bought this guard for 2 reasons. First I had had the prongs and gold added 2 times in my 25 years of marriage. I thought this may help with the wear and add some extra bling to my ring. They offer a 180 day warranty so why not try it. I also wear more silver than gold as I prefer natural stones and artisan jewelry. I will up date once the 180 days are over fingers crossed. I rarely remove my rings except for throwing pots. (I am an artist and potter.)

Great enhancer ring for my 1 Karat Moissanite solitaire ring. Actually the solitaire is a bit big on my finger since I lost some weight, but the enhancer is a half size smaller, so it keeps the solitaire from rotating around on my finger. Great sparkle, very well made, highly recommend this one.
