I saw another review where someone said it fit their guitar cab so I purchased these. I am glad I did - they fit my very old, very heavy guitar amp and it rolls perfectly. Unfortunately the amp company stopped selling the pop in casters so I purchased these. I’m so excited I’m thinking about buying more for other things around the house. Worth every penny.

I purchased these castors to "downgrade" the 3" castor wheels I placed on my ShopSmith about 5 years ago. My shop has smooth concrete floors and the 3" castors never did fit as well as the original 2" so instead of going with the hard plastic ShopSmith castors, I bought these. they are a joy to use and very easy to install. additional, the construction is outstanding and definitely worth the price.

These are some really good casters. I got them to use on my old Rockwell/Delta Table Saw and they work fine.

I guess when other reviewers stated this was a direct replacement for Shopsmith casters, they were talking about the original smaller wheels 2". I have the Shopsmith upgrade casters, so I bought the 3" wheels which did not work. They installed easily, but were too short to use with the caster frame in the "upgrade" position and too long in the original position. However, if shimmed with 3-4 3/8" washers they will work fine.If you have the Shopsmith caster upgrade the (POB-0312-06 3" Diameter X 1-1/4" Width Polyolefin Wheel With Ball Bearing, 250 lbs Capacity) on Amazon are a direct wheel replacement that works exactly like the original.

If you own a Shopsmith, you are no doubt familiar with the undersized, underperforming wheels that come with it. You can purchase a replacement set from the company at almost four times the amount of these, or you can save a lot of money by buying these wheels. I chose to save money and I cannot be more pleased with the quality of this item.
