This manifold gauge set is something I've been eyeing for a while now. Having something to check levels myself and not pay a tech a visit fee plus all the labor time is going to pay itself back in literally one usage.The set is nice and plenty for a home DIY'er. Just need to watch some videos and you are all set. Very nice!

I've had several sets of AC manifold gauges over the years, so I'm confident saying the cheap sets typically work just as well as the more expensive sets for DIY purposes. Unfortunately, this cheap set is the exception. As soon as I hooked it up I noticed the low side valve was leaking pretty bad. I disassembled the valve and found a seal that was torn probably from improper assembly. In addition to the bad valve, the advertised adapters were missing. I didn't need them for my system, but it would have been nice to actually get what is advertised. As such, I cannot recommend this set...

I Don’t work in refrigeration systems anymore but needed a replacement for my 25 year old set. It is not high end but the set does work. Gauges are not bad, the manifold seems to be a soft brass but holds up. There is no threading on the manifold to secure the lose end of the hoses to. The gauge set is pretty decent for the price. I am satisfied with the purchase.
