I put in about 75 miles plus a week during the riding season (I'm a baby boomer). The 8-year-old SHIMANOs I loved were falling apart so I found the nearest model they have today to the ones I had. My old ones were 47's so I ordered the same size but they were slightly tight in the toes so I sent them back and got a pair of 48s and they fit perfectly. The size difference could have been my foot, my older shoes had stretched and I believe they were made out of softer material which allowed them to stretch even more. I feel these are very good shoes for club riders.

These replaced Gyro shoes. These are wider and more comfortable for my wide-ish feet. I purchased the size that I wear in non-cycling shoes and that turned out right. If I had bought i next size up, they would be too big. I like the tightening mechanism. It’s not bulky and it’s easy to use. They seem plenty stiff. I believe all of the different Shimano items I have bought have functionally been very good. I recommend these shoes!

I bought this shoe for use with a peloton bike. With a 10.5 US men’s shoe size, a 45 fit me quite well, which is what Shimano recommended. I’m not sure what Amazon is doing recommending me size up, this wouldn’t have worked.Generally the shoes are comfortable and have soft materials that don’t dig into my feet. The boa fastener works quite well. They seem expensive for the overall level of comfort and fit and finish but so far they have checked most boxes and are serving me well.

These shoes are perfect. I am a size 42 but sized up to 43 so I could add the G8 customizable insoles. Works great!
