Multi-Use Versatility

Easy to Walk In
The XC1 has a full-length rubber outsole. Wherever you’re riding, indoors or out, the grippy rubber makes it easy to hop off the bike and walk without fear of slipping. The SPD / 2-bolt cleat is recessed (meaning it sits flush with the sole), so you can walk around without sounding like you’re wearing tap shoes.

I wore a previous version of the shoe for over 10 years and loved them I use these shoes on both my road bike and mountain bike. I am sure there are shoes out there much better, but you cannot beat these for the price. Be advised that the shoe runs a little small. I recommend you buy one size up from what you normally wear.

I happen to like velcro fastening straps on cycling shoes, simple, no fancy systems that can eventually fail. These shoes were immediately perfect, of course a cycling shoe doesnt need to be broken in at least in my experience. Probably can find shoes that are lighter but then they will cost three times as much, not for me. Very happy so far with these. Have a nice day.

These are great. Only negative is that I can't tighten the bottom two straps as tight as I'd like, there's a little play between the top of my foot and and the shoe making a gap in engagement during upstrokes, but I'm not going to take away a star for it. Could just be how my foot is shaped, and I could likely alleviate the issue with a thicker insole. Excellent value for these shoes as well. Comfortable enough to walk in if necessary as well!

I consider this show a piece of junk. On my third time using it my foot flew of the pedal because the part on the shoe that holds the clip broke off. The clip stayed on the pedal, but the plastic piece that holds the clip broke off. I do not recommend.

Construction of the highest quality, just too narrow in the toe box. I wear a size 9.5 with E width. Bought the 9.5 - 10 size, which was accurate in terms of length, but way too narrow for me. I would think these would be great for someone with a D width or narrower. Returned.

Ineeded to replace a aging pair of Shimano MTB shoes.I tried cheaper no-names, Tommaso shoes, Giro shoes and they all had fit issues.Then I tried the MX100, the strap didn't snug up enough.Decided to spend more and bought these.PERFECT!You get what you pay for. Sizing guide works. Order now!
