I bought this ball for my horse and mule. I put some large pellet treats in the ball (maybe 8 or 10?), and threw the ball into their paddock. They played with it a lot and rolled it around, but they never seemed to be able to get any treats out. I decided to take the treats out so that they wouldn't mildew inside of the ball. When I tried to get the treats out, I realized that it would be practically impossible for the treats to come out from rolling it around (unless the ball had A LOT of treats inside) because it has a raised lip on the inside of the hole that keeps the treats from falling out of the hole. It took ME a little while to get all of the treats out. Maybe if you fill3d it with smaller pellets, and had the ball fairly full it would work better, but I'm not very impressed with the design. Great concept, though.
