Dear Cobbler’s Choice,I don’t know how to review this brush for ya. It’s a brush that I use for my Goodyear welted boots. I own 3 of these brushes. One in natural wood for my lighter colored boots like my Grant Stone Diesel’s in Dune/Natural cxl. One in brown for my Grant Stone Ottawa’s in crimson cxl and a pair of Thursday Captains in Arizona Adobe. One in black for my Grant Stone, Beckett Simonon, and Thursday black cxl boots. This way I have a good brush for every color of leather and won’t mix and match for the most part. I like the brushes because the horsehair is thick and the brush is large so it will cover a lot of surface area when brushing my boots after each wear or when it’s time to polish again or condition them. I have a cheap brush to just get muck off the boots before I use the CC brushes to polish my boots. It is what it is. I don’t think there would be any bad brushes out there but in the beginning or using these brushes some of the horsehair would fall out but it stopped falling out within a few times of usage. I have no complaints because I don’t know how to complain about a horse-haired brush. Lol.

I bought this shoe brush hoping for an effective tool for polishing and brushing off dust, but unfortunately, I'm quite disappointed. The brush is supposed to be made of horsehair, but I'm not entirely sure if it actually is, though I’ll assume it is. The biggest issue I've encountered is that the bristles fall out excessively during use. This makes a huge mess, and it seems to happen every time I use it. I’ll keep using it to see if the shedding improves with time, but as of now, it’s not ideal.Given the quality, I can't recommend this brush. It might work for some, but for me, it was a letdown. For anyone else considering it, I’d advise looking elsewhere. If you're willing to spend a bit more for something better (I’d be willing to pay more than the $12 I spent on this one), you might find a more reliable option.I’ll update my review if the shedding issue stops, but for now, I’m sticking with 2 stars.After some initial use, the bristle shedding has subsided, so I'm updating my review. I now find this brush to be adequate, especially considering the price. It's a good option, but keep in mind that the initial use can be quite messy.

I became the owner of my first pair of leather boots at the ripe age of 30. Leather care is one of those things that's supprisingly heavily debated upon on the internet. One thing's for sure-a brush is a must have. As a novice, this brush seems to do the trick. I didn't even know my shoes were dirty until gave them their first brush and they shined like new again after 5 months. Next step is to figure out which conditioner to choose. Decisions, decisions.

It seems soft, dense and hardly any hairs fall out while using it(I guess losing 2-3 is normal) and the price was decent.

This is a very misleading listing showing two brushes for a little under £15.00. In actual fact you only recieve one brush. Average quality with raggy bristles at a very high price. The word premium on the box is even spelled incorrectly.Its time Amazon stamped out this kind of sharp practice!
