Yes, I use this 'off recommendation'. Our house is very dusty due to where we live. This is one of the few ways we have found to 'get and stay ahead of the curve' to fight our dust.It gets clogged, and I also clean it out by blowing air from inside to out (against recommendations) but every year or so it does need replacement.Great product, good value, does what it says.

Fit perfectly on my older 10-gallon Shop-Vac. I love the ability to use it for both wet and dry applications as required...no changing of filters is required in going between wet or dry. Would buy again.

right part for the job. After blowing 1/2 the dust I vacuumed back into the air, I knew the filter was shot. The vac works great now.
