It is definitely harder to fit to the head without it sliding down than I thought it would be.... It also didn't help my daughter (2yo) want to let me wash her hair. So, why the five stars? It can work as intended, if you kid will let it. It is not magical but functional. Tonight as I tried to convince my daughter to let me rinse her hair I had the idea of using upside down (so it more covered her eyes like an umbrella). She typically wouldn't even let me put it on her, but this idea even she liked. With that we got the job done with out crying or screaming. In the end it's up to the child if this will work or not but that's not the products fault, thus five stars.

I have a 4 year old who hated bath time due to me washing her hair. She would go FRANTIC if I even mentioned a bath so it was always a struggle for us to bathe her requiring two people to hold her down so we could quickly wash her hair and rinse her.This thing has been a godsend for us! My daughter now looks forward to taking baths and washing her hair because none of the water gets in her eyes or ears anymore. I may have to get a backup one just in case only because the straps feel like they may snap at any moment but so far I have been able to modify the strap and it fits well. I still give this 5 stars for the fact that this product restored some trust in my daughter to be able to trust me to wash her hair again without any more shampoo or water in her face and ears. thank you so much

My four year old daughter loves princesses and mermaids, and this product has a great concept. She hates getting water in her eyes so I was very hopeful this would be our solution. I liked it so much that I am still giving it three stars, even though I ended up returning it. The fastening unit on the back would not stay closed, which made it unusable for us.

While it does say it’s a baby shower cap shield, the description says it’s a shower cap for kids and the picture appears to show it on a young child. It was much too small for my 3 year old granddaughter.

Great for keep the water behind my daughters face while washing her hair. Only thing is getting it tight enough to stay on her head for her whole bath...but that could be because she is a wiggley toddler.
