Bought this to use in my kid’s bathroom. I have a kiddie shower head attachment that can be suction cupped lower for my 4&6 year old’s to shower. Thing is, I have really good water pressure which I never would have thought would be a bad thing (see Seinfeld). However it is when the shower head is way lower and closer to the kids. This solved the trick perfectly. Made the pressure more gentle and less pressure wash feeling. Very easy to put on and I’m sure it could help save a little money be using less water. I’d recommend using some teflon tape to ensure no leaks.

I installed this to an RV outdoor shower. By adding this flow control shut valve, my family and I can easily shut off all water flow at the shower head without changing water temperature at the primary valves. This makes it much easier to conserve the water contained in our RV reservoir tank when boondock camping. It does add a small amount of length to the hand shower handle, but it still fit inside the storage box on the side of the RV. It feels like it is built well, and it easy to operate.

I docked it 1 star because the showerhead will squeal a bit when restricting it a great deal. You have to find the balance between water pressure vs. the squealing noise. This occurs only when restricting the water a great deal.

We recently replaced our bathtub with a walk in shower. The new shower valve only controls the temperature, not the water pressure. Initially the pressure was way too weak so I removed one of the flow restrictors. Afterwards, the pressure was too strong. This shutoff valve installs very easily and allows you to adjust the flow to your liking. I got the chrome version that matches my shower head perfectly.

I've tried a dozen "shut off" valves, this is the only one that completely stops the water. Other still allow for a trickle or only reduces the flow. No overnight dripping with this valve on once the excess water in the shower hose drips out.

Leaks constantly & yes I wrapped the threads in Teflon Tape…it leaks through the shut valve portion & restricts the water flow so much you can’t get a proper flow

The label says brushed nickel, the product inside is chrome. Sent a feedback, no response.
