My husband was so excited when he got the small paint roller we bought a house glass December and we're painting the hole inside of the house and this was perfect for small areas he was so excited he didn't care if he got a Christmas present haha

I needed to do some paint touch-ups after moving into my apartment. This mini-roller was incredibly efficient and cheap! I was able to clean the roller several times to use with different color paints in different rooms. Much easier than doing touch-ups with a brush where you have to try to hide the brush strokes. The paint rolled on smoothly and I had no issues cleaning the roller. I wouldn't consider doing a room or anything larger than 4' x 4' with this though as the 3" roller would be inefficient.

This is a very small paint roller with a sleeve that is just a bit too smooth. However, if you need to touch up small wall areas, this is a good product. It would not be adequate for larger jobs. It took very little time to cover about 6 areas on a wall that had gotten scratched up and the coverage was perfect when dried. The roller (sleeve and all) was easy to clean and put away for possible future use. I was skeptical when I opened the package and saw the items -- especially the clear plastic tray, but was delighted with the results. I would recommend this product for very small paint jobs; it is inexpensive and does work the way it should.

i needed to paint sample swatches of my color choices and these little kits are perfect for doing that. no need to wash out between colors, etc., and disposable. however, i don't think i would use them for actual painting/trim as the roller is not very substantial and the tray is a bit flimsy. but if you need to test paint colors before committing these make it really easy to get your swatches up on the wall without the lines of brushes.

I was disappointed in this set. The packaging was the tray, which was extremely flimsy. The roller and pad were also very cheap and flimsy. Waste of money.

This item is perfect for touching up scuff marks in your home. The tray is the plastic part of the packaging, but I don't mind that, I think it's a cool way to reuse packaging actually, and it serves its purpose. You most likely won't be able to get a second use out of the roller unless you wash it out, but again, this is a great product if you just need to touch up a few scuff marks on the wall. There was no lint that came off of the roller either!

I'd give this a zero if I could and still submit a review. I didn't mind that the tray was part of the packaging. I did mind that it looked nothing like the first picture. The tray is so flimsy it was smushed a bit during delivery.

This is my absolutely favorite roller for using to stencil fabric usually with house paint. The thinness of the roller head means no spongy squishing of paint under stencil edges = more control. It pops off and cleans easily for regular reuse. I used my first one repeatedly for years and would likely still be reusing it had I not misplaced it.For all you painters, do not wash it out until you are done with that color. If you need to sleep then slip it into a baggy and pop it into the refrigerator which keeps the paint from setting. Next day, pop it out to warm up while you are getting set up and then keep rolling. A damp or wet roller head is a bad idea on fabric or on walls.

The roller seems pretty good although I haven't yet tried it because the "tray" turned out to be a thin plastic moulding which was stuck to a cardboard backing to form the display pack for the roller. The tray is too flimsy and brittle to be serviceable.
