This type of tape simply can't be bought in any store that I can drive to. And if you ask for it they really don't know what you are talking about. So Amazon. I use this type of tape to hold down the end of the rolled sandpaper on my drum sander. It works very well and is he only tape strong enough to do the job. Very happy.

I used to reinforce double-wall cardboard boxes. Covered all joints and top edges. Boxes last for years.

i have put Mylar covers on all of my book jackets and i have used this tape to secure to some of my books. (don't do this if you want to preserve the value of your book, but, most of mine are used. i wouldn't use tape to secure the book jacket on a new or valuable book). i think the tape looks nice. a bit like mother of pearl and it keeps the Mylar covered dust jacket on the book:)

I'm not sure how I really feel about this tape. I feel like it can be alot stronger. After a while the stickiness dries out especially when it touches your finger. It's just ok

I don't doubt that there is better quality strapping tape. I'm sure I used some stronger stuff years ago. But I sell a lot of heavy stuff on eBay (solid steel stock) and it is prone to breaking open packages even when packed tightly and taped well with regular packing tape. When that happens the product is separated from the label. HUGE pain. So now I just use this economy strapping tape to completely laminate the entire USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, which I then reinforce with regular shipping tape along all 12 edges. Makes it harder for the customer to open the box, but it never comes apart. And with the price of this tape I can afford to do that, because a single lost package costs me more than a year of this tape. I like it enough I don't feel the need to even shop around for other kinds.

This tape is amazing and I won’t use any other for packing books or pkgs going by Mail. You get piece of mind there will be less tampering or box breaking open
