Well, I must say that I'm not easily impressed. I was leaning toward purchasing this edger or a more expensive, ($1200.00), edger. I went for this one after reading reviews for a week, and I'm glad I did. It's already paid for itself just by the use I got out it this summer. It's lightweight and it's a go getter. All I have to do to start it is to hit the primer bubble 5 times and it starts on first crank. I don't even have to choke it. It does take a minute to figure out on how to use it on the curbs. But once you figure it out, it's fast work. I rarely leave a review on anything, but this edger definity deserves the praise that I'm giving it. Five stars all the way.

For the price I was a little worried about quality. This is good for a homeowner as it handles easily and is light and reliable. It would not stand up to commercial use but it didn’t cost $400-$500 either. I have about 180 feet to edge and after I cut it and cleaned up the overgrown grass I can edge my driveway and sidewalk in 15 minutes and I’m old and slow!

The edger doesn’t start. Amazon’s window for return closed. Is there a way to still return it? I bought it in December and it was never started.

I like that's it's very quiet and powerful enough for standard yard work. I don't like how flimsy it feels, how you can't really use it on the curb side, and the depth gauge doesn't work for me. If you have a lawn that's 1-2" higher than your driveway, sidewalk, etc. this is perfect. I'm trying to trench 1-2" into the ground which requires me to eliminate the notches used for blade height and just rest it above the metal plate/height controller. It works but not ideal.

Very good quality, very happy with the performance, it starts quickly and has great balance. The compact size makes the trimmer easy to store, perfect for smaller yards, this is an excellent tool, excellent quality and power, the handle feels more solid

I bought this trimmer for myself because I couldn't use my husband's large, heavy and bulky power tools. My husband saw it and immediately went to “try it outâ€, (ahem). He loved it and they did not disappoint! They are perfect for plowing our flower beds and are easy for us “girls†to use! I've gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the lawn. I'd say it's a great product.

There is a reason for Wild Badger no refund policy. I used the edger for 2 hours the day after I received it and noticed it was a little hard to start. The next morning, I attempted to start it to finish edging. It would not start. I pushed the bulb 7 times, I checked the filter and the spark plug and they both looked new. The gas was purchased day before. I don’t see why the spark plug would go bad after 2 hours. I called Amazon and told them and I was told I would have to talk to Wild Badger. I told them that I purchased the edger from them and they agreed to send me a replacement. I will update when it arrives but it is a bad omen and going to be a headache to get Wild Badger to replace/repair/refund if it is defective again.

This is a decent little unit, but it has been impossible to find a 9.5" replacement blade even on the manufacturer's website. Closest is a 9". The combination of my concrete sidewalks and sandy soil, and the fact that I am a corner lot so I have a lot of edging to do, means that blades do not last very long. The 9" replacement blades are too short after one use.
