These adapters were well made, heavy and sealed the romex perfectly. The nut comes off so you can install it on the romex, then push on the heavy rubber grommet that will do the sealing. Reassemble, tighten the nut and you're done. Simple, but necessary connector for waterproof connections. Reasonable price too.

Its a standard simple connector for maintaining the water tight seal between UF cable and the appropriate outdoor electrical box.

Works to run Romex wire into junction boxes or sub panel with a watertight seal. Will work with 14/2, 12/2 &12/3 cable and threads directly into waterproof junction box or 1/2†nut from clamp type connectors. Requires an o-ring seal. I used nitrile rings from HF. These are quite difficult to find. L***’s sells them, but again, hard to find and they don’t keep many in stock. They do meet most codes if used correctly in certain, specific applications.

It come without seal. So you need to add one to use it outdoor.
