This product is easy to apply on vertical planes. I tested it in the front doors of my Nissan Rogue Sport and the sound-deadening effect was quite noticeable. The only downside is that the product is too sticky and sometimes leave glues on the gloves and scissors - so be careful when cutting.

I was apprehensive going with this product as it wasn’t a brand I’d ever heard of before.I placed it on my doors and trunk and while I didn’t notice a huge difference in road noise from using this product I definitely did hear and improved ent from my sound system once installed.This product does have a somewhat tar like smell when installing but I haven’t noticed it lingering after installation.As far as adhesion I haven’t noticed any shortcomings however I did apply product using a roller.

2010 Jeep JK - 4 Door: I did sound proofing on the entire Jeep floor. Easy to install, good quality. Just keep in mind the sheets are folded twice so they are pretty large. I personally like to work with smaller sheets as it requires less cutting. The large sheets would be really good for a large flat surface, but with all the bends and twist, I find working with smaller sheets are easier. I did two other trucks in the past and was less cutting.Just a note to Jeep guys: I bought two cases and it was not enough for the entire Jeep. I was short like 4 sheets, so had to buy another box.Other than that product is great, cuts, sticks and shapes well.

Easy conscientious did what is said it would but we learned make sure you are computed to sticking it and not thinking your going to adjust it once it’s on it’s on period. Applied in warm/ moderate weather mid 70’s Fahrenheit

I'm restoring an old car and I fabricated new floors for it, and throught I'll go the extra mike and add soundproofing under the carpet since the original floors had it from the factory. This product is fairly messy to cut as the butyl rubber is like goo and ends up on your blade or shears. Definitely wear gloves and have paint thinner and rags for clean up handly. I also bought a roller to help with the install.The results are what I was looking for - consistent thickness, no question about it sticking to the floor and firewall. One more thing done.

I love the stuff, wish it was cheaper but its dino mat really, so at least its cheaper then buying name brand. Have 3 boxes of this stuff smacked down in my 2006 extended cab 2500hd. Quiets it down from road noise somewhat, not really, but the main reason I bought it was so that my back panel would stop making noise when flexing from the subwoofers thumping.It sounded like someone flopping a piece of roofing sheet metal in the wind before this stuff was on. 2 boxes of this siless on back wall and while it still slightly flexed, it made no additional noise and there was more bass outside of the truck.

I used this to line the trunk of my miata, it was super easy to work with and seems to have good adhesion (time will tell) so far. I love that it is black so it doesn't appear like you have lined your vehicle in tin foil. Will definitely use again.

Used a few boxes of this stuff plus the foam sound deadener on top of this stuff and it’s insane the difference it makes. Did the roof, pillars, doors, floor and back cab panel on an 09 Ram diesel and you can hear your breath inside the cab after all the sound deadening. Sticks very well once you apply it and use a roller, very sticky on warmer days so I applied in the am when it was cooler out. Highly recommended

Product is easy to cut to fit and even squish into tight corners inside my UTV.
