This isn't the traditional, heavy, messy asphalt-based sound deadening. Instead, it's an adhesive closed-cell foam that doesn't quite lend the solid mass that the asphalt deadening does, but it gets rid of the tin can and plastic sound that car parts can get, making them feel cheap. This stuff is lightweight, sticks well, and doesn't make a mess when it gets hot, yet it makes the car sound quieter and more expensive than it is.

Is as advertised But I thought it was a thick rubbery subsense but it's actually just fome. Not sure what would happen if it gets wet. 🤔 not sure for what i have in mind that I will use this in some area's.

I recently got a box of the siless 5mm sound deadening foam, easy to cut but be careful it's a nightmare to remove, I'm currently putting the sound deadening foam on to my jeep tj hardtop to help with the heat and the sound and so far from the back to the front part I did you can actually touch the inside of the hardtop and its not that hot, it is working like it suppose to, once it sticks on its a nightmare to remove like I said.

I have a Mercedes Metris cargo van that I’ve been using the build a camper van. After driving it home from the dealership I realized that before I did anything I needed to add some acoustic insulation. This foam sheeting works great. I was able to cut it easily and, with the attached adhesive, it was even easier to install. I finished the left side of the van and then had to stop for a week, but even with just half of the van finished it made a HUGE difference when I got on the freeway. The road noise was cut down by about 80%. I can’t wait to do the other side - it will be so quiet.

I used this for a dry box to see if it would keep the radiated heat down, and it did the trick. next I wrapped the inside of my 3D printers electronics bay and it all but eliminated the fan noise. next I'll try the interior of the 3D printer itself, but I'm going to have to do some flammability testing on it first.

The super sticky backing ensures a solid attachment to your surfaces, but make sure this is not used anywhere near water or moisture. It is of open cell construction, so it will absorb and HOLD water. Then you will have a breeding ground for mildew and smell.Overall it does deaden sound, but it has limited and specific limitations.

I rebuild classic vehicles for a hobby, so when I saw this Siless UltraSoft 190 (5 mm) mil 36 sqft Car Sound Deadening PU Foam, I had to have it. Classic cars are very noisy and you can hear all kinds of road noises. So now when i rebuild these cars, I just use these sound deadening material. I've been very happy with this brand and continue to use it on my cars. It sticks very easily and I can put a carpet right over the top of it, so it looks good, and it cuts down on the road noise significantly. I can't recommend them enough!! get some for yourself today!

If weight is a concern, this sound deadening foam works great! It doesn’t dampen vibrations as well as the thick heavy rubbery stuff, but does a good job otherwise insulating noises. The tradeoff is is plenty worth it, quiets down the cabin without adding much weight. Very easy to install- measure, cut, stick! The adhesive is really good, sticks so well in fact, it has to be set perfect the first time, otherwise may be difficult to remove and reset.Excellent sound dampening foam for a good price, great quality product from a good brand. I have used other Siless brand products and they are all excellent and pricing is lower than other brands. Good stuff! A+

El material no es de celula cerrada, por lo tanto si se derrama un liquido sobre éste, el material absorberia el liquido en vez de repelerlo. Otro aspecto que tampoco me gusto que es muy suave, creo que se degradaria muy pronto. Pienso que no es el material adecuado para el uso que esta diseñado.
