I didn't want to get the mesh on the Quest 3 damp with sweat, and this does the trick! Sweat stays on the cover to be easily wiped off. It also does a good job of blocking out light, but it does not completely block all light. It is a large improvement, though, so it's definitely worth it. One thing to note if you wear glasses: I could slide my glasses in and out easily without the cover, but with the cover, it is a bit harder since the silicon creates friction when putting on the headset. It's not a deal breaker for me; it's just a slight inconvenience when trying to put on the headset with glasses. I also have quite large glasses, so if your glasses don't rub up against the mesh already, then you should be fine.
