I like that it stretches more than rubber house for pushing onto slightly too-large barb fittings. This will fit into a 1-1/4" barb with some effort.

I have a European engine that has very odd sized hoses. And by "odd", that automatically means "expensive"! This stuff is flexible enough that I didn't need to buy those expensive hoses, from European dealers and wait months for it to come in. You may laugh, but this stuff saved me about $1000 in specialty hoses. And because it's so flexible, I didn't have to worry about getting the exact right size either. Looks good too. Longevity? I'll update this in 10 years or after my engine dies from hose failure.
