So far, so good!I put it in my 2005 corvette with the LS2 motor to help protect against cold starts because I drive the car in MN winters!Works great, gets hot, I leave it on all night when it’s going to be well below freezing.Oil temps in the morning will still be above 50*F, so I’d call that a win for keeping the engine in good shape!I only used one of the two pads, might put the other one in a different vehicle.

Installed one on each side of the block on a large air compressor. Problem with condensation in the oil pan and added these to help cook off the moisture. Seems to be working very well.

Put this around the lower radiator hose and fastened with 2 hose clamps. Tightened just enough to make full.contact. photo taken after 3 hours on a cold engine, at 10°F . As.you can see from the FLIR image, the pad successfully pre heated the entire intake manifold via. Convection. It also managed to circulate through the heater core and radiator too. Been using a few days with good results..... I like it cause I get heat fast as well. Totally incorrect use of product on wrong place..... Works great! Used the other one under the bird squirrel feeding table under the water dish keeps the water wet and heats the whole platform. Squirrel says 2 tails up! Funny they usually fight but now eat peacefully with warm toesðŸ‘👠no problem sticking there.....

Beware of this product. I didn't have high hopes when I purchased it. I really didn't expect it to get very hot. Well, was I wrong. I came out in the morning and found this lying under my car. It got really hot! I didn't know silicone would char. Ill be processing a return ASAP....

These work great on the bottom of my oil pan for warming the engine oil during the winter. Very simple instructions, a nice smooth dry oil free surface, free of rust. Paint is ok. Put silicone adhesive around the edges to seal the pad onto the oil pan.
