This cover fit my new flat top perfectly. It's protects the surface. The added bonus is the ability to pull things from the oven and having a heat resistant surface to place it on. Great but.

The gray mat is a great surface for loading groceries, dishes from dishwasher, pouring coffee, etc. It adds to the available counter space and gets rid of the large black hole in the counter that was basically usable only during cooking. This is for a regular electric cooktop ( not an induction). I don't know if it works with induction.

This is just what we needed. We have a black glass cook top. Anyone who has one knows they are hard to keep clean and free from scratches. They are also pretty expensive to replace. This pad is exactly what we needed to protect the cooktop when not in use, plus it doubles as a drying mat. We didn't notice when you bought it, but it turned out to match the color of our kitchen cabinets. It doesn't cover the entire surface, but It covers enough to suit its purpose. The package came quickly and well packed. It has a few fold creases, but I'm sure with time, they'll disappear. Definitely recommend.

We bought this after dropping a glass on the glass top stove that crack it. We bought a new stove and wanted something to protect the top. The only complaint is that because it is silicone everything sticks to it and it is difficult to clean because it is so large otherwise it has been useful.

Protects the glass top of our new range perfectly. No longer worried about damage when not using the cooktop. no problem putting a hot cookie sheet on it. worth while purchase.
