I love using this particular silk-wool blend for skies and rivers in my wetfelting projects, although all of their blended wools are high quality and in beautiful colors. It is lovely stuff to work with and I buy wools from them often.The vendor is also very prompt in shipping, which is always appreciated.

I'm now spinning my second bag of Living Dreams Spirulina merino/silk blend fiber. It's so gorgeous, and such a pleasure to spin, I'm planning a bigger project than my original idea so that I can work with it even more. The company is a pleasure to work with as well. Photo is of the first 4-ounce hank of handspun yarn, ready for wet finishing.

First time spinner here.. I got it and spun half the same day on a drop spindle. I love it. It’s so soft and as you can see, the colors spin into the yarn are beautiful.. great effect. Idk if it’s just because I’m a beginner and drafting is new to me, but that was a little tricky.. not sure if the silk blended in is contributing, but the staple is pretty long, about 4-5 inches so it is a little tricky with a drop spindle.. assuming it may be easier on a wheel when you can work with two hands... either way, like I said I’m new to this so everything is a little tricky, but I love it either way and I would absolutely order more in the future. There were some other color blends I saw and liked.

Lovely fiber, spins up nicely. Silk adds luster and strength to the yarn. This was spun as a 3 ply 2/3rds was spun from the fold and 1/3rd from the top.
