Really sturdy, compact, and sharp saw. I got it to trim down a few limbs (up to about 4 inches across) and I was through each within 30 seconds. It folds down small enough and is light enough that I'm going to permanently add it to my hiking/camping bags

Great saw cut down and cleared many clumps of dry bamboo hundreds of cuts. This 180 was so easy to maneuver in the tight stands at any angle.Bamboo isn't very hard but it's very tough and you need a good saw to get it done. The handle was excellent for my large hands didn't slip once. Didn't need two hands either due to the sharpness and design of teeth. No it doesn't cut like butter sawing anything is work but with this saw I got the job done quicker. Also used it on some dry oak limbs and was smooth.I have a bahco Laplander same size but the Silky blows it away not even close. The blade is sturdy and only flexed on me once a tough ground level cut.I liked this one so much I bought a Silky Zobat 330.Didn't need that one for this but what a great saw tooSome of my cheap saws have stayed sharp they use and abuse so the Silky be high grade should last for years.Gonna get another for my prep bag.

Not much to say here - Saws with ease and speed. Compact, light, strong where it matters, well made and designed. An excellent choice to carry and for ocassional use.

These are no longer the rugged saws they used to be. I had one from 10 years ago and the current blade steel is noticeably thinner. Sharpness is still great, handle is solid, but saw blade is not as thick/rigid as before.Still an awesome saw, just not as awesome as it used to be.

This cut through my small firewood very quickly on my most recent backpacking trip. It feels sturdy and secure. The blade lock was secure and did not give me any issues. It is reasonably light weight. And it didn't take up much room in my pack. I definitely recommend it.

good saw I replaced this after I broke the blade trying to cut a fallen tree that was way too big so I got the bigger 36CM one

Very ergonomic - fits your hand perfectly. Has a great lock mechanism and the blade is razor sharp. Cuts through 5 inch branches with little effort.Has a good grip and looks very durable. Performance beats other brands hand down.

This makes very quick work of cutting through anything up to a 6 inch diameter log. Love it for camping as it's very light and folds in all the way, so I don't even need any sort of cover as there are no sharp points anywhere when closed. It locks into place when cutting so I like the safety factor of that. This model has the large course teeth (what I wanted) because I use it for processing firewood not pruning, so did not want a smooth edge, just want it to cut fast. If I were wanting to cut anything bigger than 6 inch diameter, I would buy the Big Boy with the largest teeth I can get. The silky saws are very well made (handle construction, folding/locking parts) has replacement blades available should I need one. You must cut on the pull stroke, NOT the push. The teeth are so aggressive that it's enough to cut through wood fast.
