I snagged several 2/3 sheet pans at a Williams-Sonoma outlet some time ago, and discovered they are fabulous for getting more cookies to a sheet, among other things. But using parchment on them is a pain because the flat sheets obviously are designed for half-sheet pans. So I was delighted when I found that Demarle made a silat for that larger size pan, and realized that the one with macaron circles would be useful for making macarons in addition to general use as a silat for other things. I love it so much that I've already ordered a second. Cookies never stick -- even macaron shells that are notorious for sticking. They're on the pricey side but worth every penny!

I had one Silpat brand macaron mat for my jumbo sheet....and then I have Walmart cheapie silicone macaron mats. I've also tried parchment. You see, I only have one pan that will fit this larger mat but the recipes make way more and they have to completely cool for easy removal. I am NOT patient. Small, cheap mats AND paper burn! The Silpat and Nordicware combo bakes BEAUTIFULLY! I've invested in yet another jumbo sheet and mat for perfectly baked macarons all over!

Only place I could get this may for my very large baking sheet. Will never go back to parchment! These are great.

I love the great quality of this silicone mat. I love the size of the macaron template as well, makes for a nice size cookie that can be filled with yummy cream or curd. This silpat is absolutely great for making macarons except for the fact that it is so large. As seen in my photos, it is too large for my Nordic Ware half sheet and if I use it then it deforms the outer macaron shells. I desperately wish it filled a half sheet pan.

Just arrived. Perfect fit for my USA pan sheet pan. Can’t wait to get macaron baking. I have used silpats before for macarons (just not pre printed) so I have high hopes for good results.
