Saw this brush on an Instagram post and wanted to try it. I am in LOVE!! It holds its shape beautifully and bc of the wedge/ triangle shape, you can get very fine lines while also getting thick strokes. Perfect for the florals I paint!! Keeps me from having to switch brushes between large strokes and details and I feel like I have much more control even when the brush is fully loaded with pigment and water.

I watched a couple of YouTube videos and eventually got the hang of it. Flower petals come out very nice so do the leaves Highly recommend I ordered several other sizes. These brushes are not cheap but worth it IMO

Upon arrival I trimmed a few (3) stray fibers that had curled backwards and outwards from the base of the brush at the metal binder. Not sure if this is a typical quality issue for SB, as this is my first SB order. I normally use Princeton and have never had a Princeton brush come with curling or dislodged brush fibers so I will likely stick with that brand-quality.*Nonetheless* the brush itself is great now: smooth and makes flowing, perfect petals and leaves for my watercolor projects.

This is the best performing brush in my watercolor brush collection. It's fine tip holds its point while the body of the brush holds water/paint beautifully. Very versatile.
