We have a new kitten so proud of how he could jump from the floor onto the stove 😳 but he’s only done this with the stove off. We tried to find a stove guard but nothing seemed tall enough or sturdy for our situation.This works perfectly positioned on the counter left and right and across the front edge of the hot stove. It’s far enough away from the burners and quite tall. Kitty hasn’t attempted a stove jump since we started using these. His paws are safe.

Love it, very sturdy, doesn’t look cheap, bought it because my sink is next to the stove and I don’t think is safe when washing dishes and is stopped for splashing oil to my backsplash

It’s not a flimsy piece of metal and the two pieces make it easier to fit your cooking area.

The pieces are very heavy-duty and easy to clean. I used this with my electric griddle and on my ceramic cook top. I wish the pieces had an extra hinge in the middle of each higed section so it could be made smaller. I could slide the panels together to make then the length of one side while keeping the sides long, but that also left a lot space for splatter to get on the horizontal surface. It works very well to keep things off the wall and does a good job keeping bacon splatter off the counter around my griddle, but I still have to clean things spagetti sauce off the cooktop. It doesn't splatter as far, but being able to make it smaller would have been a welcome option.

The material is nice but the packaging is not. It is onlprotected by a flimsy, but cardboard box and two thin sheets of Styrofoam. USPS, as expected, handled the package roughly and one corner of the package came bent. Not outrageously bad

I like this set of back splashes. I wish they could have worked better for my intended use. I have a camper with an outdoor galley. I wanted this to go behind my grill to protect the fridge and ice maker. As it stands right now, it won't work. There is an area behind my grill that doesn't have a ledge for this to sit on. That makes them fold in towards each other. I think I can fix this by adding a small "L" bracket on the back of my grill and bend the bottom up to make a channel for them to sit on. Nothing wrong with the shields, I guess I should have looked first.As for the construction, they seem to be built well. The paint seems solid and like it should be easy to clean. They're a good size for grease shields and easy to fold away when not in use. I hope my idea works out or I'll just have to use these in the house instead.
