Bought this so I could go from a nano SIM up to a standard SIM. Item is good, I just didn't read the instructions properly :/I had a prepaid T-mobile phone that used a nano sim, the smallest SIM. I got a new phone that uses a standard SIM. I didn't want to pay $15 for a new SIM, and go through the trouble of calling customer service and explaining to them that I wanted to move the info and credit from one SIM to another, so I thought this would be the cheapest way to go and it was.The nano SIM fit perfectly into the adapter, you need to use it on a flat surface and push the nano SIM in until it clicks in. Even though it clicks in, it may not stay in. The phone I tried to put the adapter into required the card to flex a little and that made the nano SIM pop out of the adapter. I mean to say that there was no simple flat slot to push it into, it was a metal holder that you had to slide the SIM into and it had to bend a little in order to fit in properly. This is not the fault of the seller. After getting frustrated I read the instructions and noticed that the SIM adapter kit conveniently contained a few pieces of clear double-sided adhesive to keep the SIM in the adapter - DOH! After using the tape, the card fit perfectly. I am not sure but I think once you use the tape you are committed to keeping the SIM in the adapter, but I was ok with that. You probably can remove the SIM even if it is taped in but I'm not sure.The kit also includes a small sturdier-than-the shipping-bag plastic pocket that has little slots for SIMs and the adapters, so I guess if you fix phones or travel and have to change SIMs, or are just Jason Bourne, you've got a nice carrying case. At least you won't have the pieces wandering around your gadget drawer!

The sim adapters arrived on time and are as described. They are pretty rugged, and work well. The sim you have actually snaps into the adapter, so make sure it does so it doesn't move around and get the adapter stuck inside the port. There are many people throughout the internet who have complained about inserting these adapters, and they end up getting stuck. You are NOT supposed to insert these without a sim installed in them, because the pins will get caught up on the adapter. People are rendering their phones useless because they're forcing them out and bending/breaking the pins in the process. Just a tip... I experimented with this, and it did get caught. I used one of those thin wooden coffee stirrers to slide underneath the adapter and was able to remove very easily without harming the pins. They are pretty sturdy, and fit all my phone dead on. I was worried about my Lumia 822 because it has a small drawer that pulls out. If you know the Nokia Lumis series phones, then you know what I'm talking about. The adapter fit perfectly. I bought this set because I needed the to convert a nano sim into a micro sim. This set is well worth the money.

I had to put it on a hard flat surface and push fairly hard to get it to snap into place. But, perhaps that is good, it seems to be snug. It came with some 3M tape but I didn't seem to need it. I guess depends on the application.The instruction sheet was tiny, I had to take a picture of it and look at it zoomed on my phone, LOL.Probably most of the time you should just get a new SIM and not mess with these adapters. But, I had a data plan that I wanted to keep but AT&T would not transfer to a new device. And the new device I wanted happened to take a regular SIM and the old device had a micro SIM. So, I used this and seems to work.I've read some other reviews and it seems the perhaps the SAdapter brand (available on Amazon) might be of higher quality. But, I bought this before seeing those other reviews. So, I can't say for certain. I'm just suggesting you check that option out as well if you really need an adapter.

The SIM card snapped snuggly into this adaptor which I like a lot. At first I though that the SIM card was a tad too big but I placed the adaptor on a flat surface and pressed firmly to snap the two together. The adaptor has a thin film on the back side so that the supplied double sided tape has something to grab on to. The tape will hold the SIM card onto the film in the adaptor so you don't have to worry about things coming apart as you slide the kept adapted SIM Ubuntu your phone.This was exactly what I needed and it works great! Excellent value, very good quality, this is a definite buy.

I used the Micro SIM adapter to transfer a Nano SIM from an LG Risio 2 to a OnePlus One phone. Worked out perfectly!!
