When shopping for light bulbs, please DO NOT go by the listing photos, as the photos cannot give you an accurate match. Instead, please verify the light bulb dimensions, shape code, base, voltage, and wattage all match the type you are replacing. Please also DO NOT go by the applications listed in the listing. There are many variations of light bulbs used for the same application. So, please make sure to make the right match prior to order.
Please note the G16.5 40W E12 incandescent light bulb falls under the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) 2020 exemption rule (candelabra base) in the Department of Energy (DOE) 2016 ruling.
Guide on Buying the Correct Light Bulbs:
Base, Shape and Dimensions
- Base: E12, known as Candelabra, with 12mm diameter
- Shape: G16.5, G16 1/2 Small Globe
- Diameter: 2.0 inches
- Length: 2.75 inches
Please make sure the light bulb base matches your light fixture socket, which should be candelabra screw base with only 12mm diameter. This is a much smaller light bulb with only 2" diameter, as opposed to the larger globe shape G25 bulb with 3.15" diameter. It is difficult to tell them apart by looking at the product photo. Please make sure the light bulb width and length fit within your light fixture prior to ordering.

Working with Incandescent Dimmers
These incandescent light bulbs are dimmable using the dimmers designed for incandescent & halogen light bulbs. All incandescent and halogen light bulbs are dimmable using traditional dimmers, as these dimmers simply adjusts the voltage level for dimming.
Dimming using LED only dimmers will result in incompatibility, as LED dimmers work very differently. Please check the compatibility of your dimmer switch or light fixture prior to purchase.

They light up but was not expecting them to be dim but that's because there's a grey tint over the bulb. Don't know why the manufacturer would do that as light is everything in a home, especially a kitchen.I would not be buying this product again but they are much less expensive than the big box stores as light bulbs have gotten way out of control when it comes to pricing.
