I have never replaced a drinking water well before. Shut the power off, 4 bolts and old cap came off, a gentle tug and the well almost floated to the top as our well was a gusher. We had everything g prepped ahead of time and it all went back together smoothly. Spent under $500 for everything including all the pipe which was the most expensive.

Great design I used it to replace a rusty cast iron model. This product makes a perfect seal to the well . Important to know that this well seal fits a 4 inch well casing I had to go to the manufacturer's website to determine the correct size. Amazon's description is lacking

I had to replace the bolts and H/W with stainless steel which is an issue if the seal is burried. The supplied H/W is just bright plating of some kind.
